Electronic music lovers and fans all over the world know Dimitri “Vegas” Thivaios as half of the monolithic brotherly duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and as ambassador of the worldwide phenomenon, Tomorrowland. The brothers are superstars in the electronic music scene that earned the adoration of crowds around the globe. Clocking up more than 30 million fans on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Youtube, and over a billion YouTube views of their immersive, over-the-top live performances and music video’s. Their yearly solo-concerts sell out 85.000 tickets in less than 40 minutes, a feat only U2, Madonna, Beyoncé, and Michael Jackson can also claim. Diplo and for which the music video offered the brothers another chance to flex creative storytelling muscles with a self-written and directed comic book style adventure. In 2019, their controversial single “Best Friend’s Ass” with Paris Hilton united a stellar cast, including Kim Kardashian in one of the craziest music videos of the year – written by Dimitri Vegas himself and their latest single ‘Instagram’ with Daddy Yankee, David Guetta & Natti Natasha is attacking charts worldwide and breaking new records for the brothers. Currently touring the world and jumping between Los Angeles and the sunny island of Ibiza as home-bases, the Greek-Born and Belgian raised actor fluently speaks six languages, and represented by CAA, Dimitri is balancing a budding acting career to his already 24/7 filled schedule. He started out by making some remarkable television cameos on European TV- programming and local films. He recently starred in the European blockbuster “Gangsta” by ‘Bad Boys 3’ Directors Adil El Arbi & Billal Fallah, as well as Jean-Claude Van Damme’s gritty action movie ‘Lukas’ and the upcoming ‘Rambo V : Last Blood’ alongside Sylvester Stallone, while also appearing in the latest installment of Mortal Kombat as the voice and face of fan-favorite Sub-Zero and as an alien in Men In Black : International. After revealing upcoming roles in movies like George Romero’s “Rise of the Living Dead” prequel, a lot more exciting acting parts are to be announced in the near future. He has also fallen in love with voice acting after Disney offered a role on the Belgian version of their blockbuster ‘Big Hero 6’ and he was asked for voicing Spider-Man in Sony’s Oscar winning ‘Into The Spider- Verse’ animated movie, as well as doing motion capture and lending his voice to “Sub-Zero” in Mortal Kombat 11. Hungry for the chance to tell his own stories, he’s got various TV-shows and movies in development , and is creating a cutting edge animated series together with the renowned Shadow Machine studios.
