Jessica Roth was born and raised in Los Angeles, California to an Romanian-Israeli family. Jessica attended and graduated from one of the best film schools in the world, University of Southern California, Film School with a BA in Film Production. Wanting to understand the full scope of Film and TV- behind and in front of the camera. While at USC Film School, Jessica also developed her craft of acting- taking outside classes with some of LA's Best Acting Schools and teachers while also expanding her understanding for the business, interning and shadowing for production companies like Miramax , Propaganda Films, now Anonymous Content , and Partizan , and many more. She landed her first onscreen role as John Malkovich assistant in Michael Bay mega-blockbuster Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) As the film industry expanded, Jessica followed. Moving to the flourishing film industry of Louisiana and in 2016 then making her way to Atlanta, GA. Her most recent roles have been on MacGyver (2016) , Tyler Perry If Loving You Is Wrong (2014) and YouTube Red TV's Cobra Kai (2018) , FOX's The Passage (2019) and the 2019 comedy film Poms (2019) with Diane Keaton and Jacki Weaver , directed by Zara Hayes . Under the bright California sun, Jessica Roth grew up as a typical Cali girl riding her bike to the beach to surf, gardening with her father and exploring the arts through her curiosity of film, television, and photography. At an early age, Jessica became enamored with stories and acting. Every Saturday with her Romania-Israeli grandmother, she would go to the "Movie Palace" and get lost in the the big screen. Her father also feed this curiosity with watching westerns, old movies and reruns of the classics and reenacting them in the living room. This lead this Los Angeles native to start studying drama and music at the early age of 6, and became one of youngest student ever to attend the Long Beach City College Performing Art Center. These days, she splits her time between Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New Orleans, working in film, and TV.
